Summer Photo Post

I was trying to come up with something ordinary to post about, like I used to. A sewing project or something to show that life's moving along the same as always. But that's just not the way it is. It's three weeks until my entrance, and life is anything but ordinary right now! I thought it was a good time for a photo-post, though, to show a few events from the summer.

As a head's up, the blog will not be here after my entrance. I've decided to either delete it, or limit access. Either way, you won't be seeing it anymore :)

Aunt Susie, Ben & Ian came to visit in May! It was great to see them all.

I want to know how Yoda found his way to a western store.

A long overdue dinner with our families.

Fireworks!

Our first time at the waterpark here - before we went on any rides.

BOOT CAMP! (staff picture, minus a few people)
A spur-of-the-moment pysanky night (night as in, 10pm-2am)

And, a few pictures from a quick trip to Alabama. Two friends and I were able to fly out for the first profession of two sisters. The first day, Elizabeth (one of three who will be entering with me) and her mom took us for an afternoon at the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament.

The next day was filled with the Mass and professions, which were beautiful,  and a lot of food and celebrating! About a hundred people came for the day, and it was very nice to meet so many of the family and friends of the sisters. Many of them stayed overnight as well, so we really got to spend a lot of time with everyone. I couldn't stop smiling that day! It was such a beautiful occassion.

Please keep us all in your prayers.

May it please the supreme and divine Goodness to give us all abundant grace
ever to know His most holy will and perfectly to fulfill it.
- St. Ignatius of Loyola
